NALCO Reports Record Net Profit of INR 5,325 Crore in FY 2024–25 2j6f1y

Bhubaneswar, May 22National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has reported a record net profit of ₹5,325 crore for the financial year 2024–25, marking a 158% increase compared to the previous year. The company’s total revenue stood at ₹16,788 crore.

In the fourth quarter alone, NALCO recorded a net profit of ₹2,078 crore, up from ₹1,016 crore during the same period last year. Quarterly revenue rose to ₹5,268 crore, compared to ₹3,579 crore last year.

NALCO also achieved its highest-ever bauxite production of 76.48 lakh tonnes and domestic metal sales of 4.55 lakh tonnes during the year.

CMD Brijendra Pratap Singh praised the company’s strong performance, attributing it to operational efficiency, cost management, and the dedication of its workforce. He noted significant growth during the third and fourth quarters, reflecting in improved revenue and financial results.

Singh added that NALCO remains committed to long-term sustainable growth through expansion of the alumina refinery (5th stream), operationalization of the Pottangi bauxite mine, and capacity enhancement of its smelter and captive power plant.
