Gujarat, May 20: Falcon Agrifriz Foods Private Limited has inaugurated a state-of-the-art, fully automated frozen potato products manufacturing plant in Mehsana, Gujarat. The high-tech facility was unveiled by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and other key dignitaries.
With an investment of ₹1,050 crore, the facility marks a significant milestone in transforming Gujarat into a global hub for frozen potato-based products. Developed in under two years, the plant is one of India’s most advanced and sustainable food processing units.
Falcon’s operations follow a farm-to-fork model, beginning with seed cultivation in northern states like Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, and commercial farming through contract farming networks in Gujarat.
Chairman Tara Ranjan Patnaik emphasized the plant’s role in responsible and future-ready food manufacturing. “This isn’t just a manufacturing plant—it’s a symbol of sustainable innovation,” he said, reaffirming the company’s vision to make India a leader in processed potato exports and to expand Falcon’s global footprint in food processing.
