Mumbai, March 28, 2025: On the last trading day of the week, Indian stock markets saw a dip, with the Sensex dropping nearly 150 points, settling at 77,446.97. This decline also affected other market segments, including the price of gold.

Gold prices, however, saw a notable increase. In Mumbai, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹89,850 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹82,360 per 10 grams. In Delhi, the price of 24-carat gold sured ₹90,000 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at ₹82,510. The rise in gold prices reflects investor preference for safer assets amid market volatility.
