Bangalore, May 2025: Something momentous is taking shape behind the scenes at Glance. Sources say the company is preparing to host one of the most tightly curated and closely watched gatherings in India’s tech calendar this year — an invite-only dinner on May 22 that could unveil Glance’s biggest innovation yet.
The event, reportedly hosted by InMobi and Glance founder Naveen Tewari, has drawn RSVPs from some of India’s most influential founders, investors, and business leaders, counting into several hundreds. Those invited include Nandan Nilekani, Bhavish Aggarwal, Nikhil Kamath, Hari Menon, Aadit Palicha, Ravi Venkatesan, Sridhar Vembu, Umang Bedi, Nivruti Rai, Kunal Shah, and others who have helped shape India’s digital economy.
While Glance has kept the agenda under wraps, speculation is mounting that the company may be ready to unveil a breakthrough in AI-powered consumer tech — possibly connected to its partnership with Google announced earlier this year. Insiders say Glance may be preparing to preview a native AI-led product experience, in what one source called “the most ambitious moment in the company’s history.”
It is also learnt that preparation has been going on at the company headquarters in East Bangalore in anticipation of the high-powered guest lists that includes some of the city’s most influential founders, CXOs, investors, as well as guests from other cities and abroad. Adding to the intrigue, security at Glance’s Bengaluru headquarters has reportedly been heightened.
