“Letter to Nature” 2025: National Writing Contest Inspires Environmental Action Among Youth 5x271e

22nd May 2025: On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, the Nature Green Future Trust and Udaan Youth Club have tly launched the “Letter to Nature” National Writing Contest 2025. This unique initiative invites individuals—especially children and young people—from across India to write heartfelt, solution-oriented letters addressed to the Prime Minister of India, sharing their environmental concerns, hopes, and ideas for a sustainable future.

The contest is open until June 3, 2025, and seeks to rekindle the spirit of environmental responsibility through creative expression. Participants are encouraged to submit original letters (100–250 words in English or Hindi), focusing on real-world solutions such as afforestation, waste management, green mobility, and climate education.

At the heart of this campaign lies a powerful message: every voice counts. By writing directly to the country’s highest office, participants engage in a national dialogue about the environmental challenges India faces and how citizens—especially the youth—can be part of the solution.

This youth-driven campaign is led by Environmentalist Sundarm Tiwari and Social Worker Aman Kumar, both State Youth Awardees recognized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Their t efforts have inspired thousands across India through creative, student-led campaigns focused on sustainability.
