Adoni, June 6, 2025: As part of the ongoing Mother’s Day initiative, Oasis Fertility, India’s leading fertility care network, continued its impactful journey through the Oasis Janani Yatra by organizing a special fertility awareness camp in Adoni, Andhra Pradesh.
The event was graced by Dr. A. Madhusudhan, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Council (MLC), Andhra Pradesh, who flagged off the mobile fertility bus and appreciated Oasis for taking reproductive health awareness to the doorsteps of people living in underserved areas.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. A Madhusudhan, Hon’ble MLC said,
It gives me immense pleasure to be invited to this meaningful initiative Oasis Janani Yatra, organized by Oasis Fertility. Taking free fertility consultations, scans, and tests to people in rural areas is truly a commendable effort.
Recently, our Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu Garu expressed deep concern over the declining birth rate in our state. As he rightly pointed out, we must all take note of the steadily falling fertility rate in Andhra Pradesh. If this trend continues, we may soon face a future where the elderly population far exceeds the younger generation which poses a serious demographic challenge.
In this context, the Janani Yatra by Oasis Fertility plays a vital role in raising awareness about fertility and in providing timely medical guidance to couples who need it the most.
I congratulate Oasis Fertility for taking such an important health initiative to the grassroots level, and I wish for many more such programs to reach every village in our state.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Krishna Chaitanya, Scientific Head & Clinical Embryologist, Oasis Fertility said,
“We launched this campaign as a Mother’s Day initiative, and over the past 30 days, we have travelled to 30+ towns across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, reaching over 700+ patients through free consultations, fertility blood tests, and personalized counselling. This effort is focused on tier 2 & tier 3 cities, where awareness on fertility care is still limited, and timely treatment is often delayed.”
Dr. Vijayalakshmi, Clinical Head, Oasis Fertility – Kurnool, added:-
“Infertility is now becoming a major health concern. Many couples, especially in rural and semi-urban areas, are losing valuable time due to lack of knowledge and access. Through the Janani Yatra, we aim to educate people about modern fertility treatments, break social stigma, and bring science-backed to those who need it most. The response from patients, referral doctors, bureaucrats, and local leaders has been extremely encouraging.”
