75th Independence Day: Central Park commemorates the valour and sacrifice of freedom fighters

Gurugram – On the occasion of Independence Day, Central Park, a reputed luxury real estate developer commemorated the valour and sacrifice of freedom fighters by unfurling the tricolour, and holding patriotic themed events at Central Park Resorts and Central Park Flower Valley on Sunday.

The occasion was marked by a march past at Central Park Flower Valley and a parade to pay salute to the national flag at Central Park Resorts. The events elevated with nationalistic sentiment when residents and kids whole heartedly delivered singing and dancing performances. Some fun activities were arranged at Flower Valley including tug of war, lemon race, kite flying marking the skyline with Tricolor, musical chair and zig-zag race. Food and Beverage stalls were setup at Resorts for the people to enjoy snacks.

Extending his heartiest wishes to the residents and management , Mr. Amarjit Bakshi, CMD, Central Park, said, “It is very endearing to witness the enthusiasm of our residents on Independence Day. We owe this freedom to the bravehearts who sacrificed their lives for the nation, and it is important to honour their dedication and commitment every year. Amid this global pandemic, each citizen gets the chance to stand up for India, by masking himself and getting vaccinated as early as possible.”

The event was addressed by Pashree awardee and resident of Central Park Resorts, Dr Ashok Vaid, deputy chairman, Medanta. “On the occasion of Independence Day, we the freedom fighters and pay homage to the frontline workers who laid down their lives in the pandemic. We also salute the corona warriors who remained on duty during the pandemic. I am glad that most of the residents have been vaccinated at the vaccination camps which were set up at Central Park, and they should continue to follow Covid-19 appropriate behaviour.”
